The passenger airbag (1) is installed below the instrument panel in the area of the glove box.
A surface (2) equipped with a breakout point all the way around is provided for the airbag to exit in the instrument panel above the glove compartment.
The exit area, also called the airbag flap, is marked with the lettering "SRS AIRBAG".
