Pressing off and pressing in radial sealing ring at rear axle housing from the side - AR35.31-P-0540-05D

  SPECIAL TOOL Replace radial sealing ring and coat the sealing lip with universal hypoid gear oil: ↓
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Universal hypoid gear oils (SAE 85 W-90) BB00.40-P-0235-07A

Pressing off 

  1. Press radial sealing ring (32a) out of the housing using a suitable screwdriver.

    Pressing in 

  2. Coat sealing lip of radial sealing ring with universal hypoid gear oil.
  3. Insert guide sleeve (032b) into side bearing cap (27b) and press in sealing ring (32a) up to the contact surface using alignment tool (032c).
