Removal and installation of rear rubber mounts of rear axle suspension - AR35.10-P-0040-03A

Removal of rubber mount 

  1. Push hexagon bolt (01d) through rubber mount (1b) and bolt together with pressure plate (01e) and pressure piece with bearing (01f).
  2. Insert pressure ring (01g) until it contacts the rear axle carrier.
  3. Screw in hexagon bolt (01d) and press out rubber mount (1b).

    Installation of rubber mount 

  4. Coat circumference of rubber mount (1b) with lubricant.
  5. Mount pull-in tool (01h - 01k) with rubber mount on the rear axle carrier.

    IMPORTANT The embossed arrow on the top side of counter plate (01h) must point in the direction of travel. Ensure that the step of the counter plate (01h) is firmly seated on rear axle carrier (arrow).

  6. Pull in rubber mount (1b).
