General test conditions

Check the external condition of the engine, pay attention to leaks and look out for any possible noises when the engine is running.
The engine oil change interval must not be exceeded. An engine oil and filter change must otherwise be carried out subject to a special charge.
On vehicles fitted with maintenance interval display it is only necessary to change the engine oil if this is indicated.
Engine oil temperature is between 80 °C and 100 °C.
Accessories are switched off.
In the event of complaints in the starting or warm-up phase, do not condition the engine to operating temperature, but proceed in a complaint-related manner.
