Removal and installation of control valve for 5th gear - AR27.35-P-0360-01A

IMPORTANT

The shift valve housing does not have to be removed to remove the control valve

  1. Turn adjusting ring and locking washer of down-shift lock-out clockwise using a screwdriver and unhook connecting linkage.
  2. Unscrew hexagon bolt, remove locking spring and fixing pin.
  3. Press control valve (Y3/1y2) into the bottom cover slightly and remove plastic bracket (153).
  4. Withdraw control valve (Y3/1y2) from bottom cover.
  5. Install in reverse order.
