Inspecting freewheel F2 axial clearance - AR27.50-P-0840-02A

TEST VALUES - GEAR SET

BE27.50-P-1003-01A Axial play between freewheel and connecting carrier mm 0.05-0.2

IMPORTANT The O-rings must not be installed for measuring the axial play.

  1. Mount supporting washer (11) so that the journal (arrow) in the freewheel outer race engages in the hole.

  2. Install shim (17)
  3. Install freewheel outer race (10) with freewheel inner race (9) in connecting carrier.

    IMPORTANT The detent cage must not be installed for measuring the axial play.

  4. Install thrust washer (18) in inner multiple-disc carrier K2 (24).

  5. Install inner multiple-disc carrier K2 (24) in the connecting carrier (7).
  6. Install snap ring (21)

  7. Check axial play between shim (17) and connecting carrier (7) using a feeler gauge.

    IMPORTANT The axial play must be 0.05 - 0.2 mm. The axial play is adjusted by means of shims. These are available in the following thicknesses: 0.1; 0.2; 0.3 mm.
