Since July 1994, a modified vacuum control valve has been installed on which the driver is spring loaded axially.
A cup seal (4) is installed with the modified vacuum control valve which prevents dust and dirt entering the vacuum control valve.
The air cleaner and housing for routing the air must be removed on vehicles with engine 603.96 for checking and adjusting (for vacuum line diagrams, see Repair Instructions, Engine, Combustion).
