Removing and installing regulator - ra15001405760x(5760)

A. Eng. 104, 120, 603, 606 with compact alternator, B. Eng. 119, C. Eng. 603 with pot-type genernator in Model 140
Operation no. of operation texts and work units or standard texts and flat rates:
- Engines 104, 120, 603, 606 with compact generator
Preliminary work:
Rear section of engine compartment paneling removed (61-0105) on engines 104, 120.
Front and center noise encapsulation removed (94-5310 and 94-5355) on engines 603, 606.

Ground cable at battery disconnect, connect. Electric wiring (1 and 2) disconnect, connect. Bolts (3) unscrew, screw in. Cover (4) unclip, clip on; press apart retaining locks (5) for this purpose. Screws (6) unscrew, screw in. Pay attention to installation position of regulator (7).
Catches (arrows) press apart and remove regulator (7) to the side, insert from the side. - Engine 119
Preliminary work:
Generator removed (Removing and installing generator ).
Bolts (1) unscrew, screw in. Cover (2) unclip, clip on; press apart retaining locks (3) for this purpose. Screws (4) unscrew, screw in. Catches (arrows) press apart and take out regulator (5) to the side, insert from the side. - Engine 603 with pot-type generator
Preliminary work:
Center noise encapsulation removed (94-5455).

Quiescent current retention unit disconnect, connect. Ground cable at battery disconnect, connect. Screws (1) unscrew, screw in. Regulator (2) tilt forward, take out, insert, tilt back. COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TESTERQuiescent current retention unit e.g. Hans Zeheter CMP 12.2
