| Exhaust pipes (10) | at exhaust manifold, unscrew, screw on. |
| Installation instruction Install new rivet nuts in exhaust manifolds with caulking screw 103 589 01 39 00. Tightening torque 30 Nm as reference value. |

| Exhaust support | at transmission, unscrew, screw on. |
| Air injection pipe (129) | remove, install. To do this, unscrew fastening bolt for air injection pipe at cylinder head, screw on. Unscrew retaining clip of air injection pipe, screw on. Detach hose from air pump, fit on. |
| Self-locking nuts (11) | unscrew, screw on, renew. |
| Exhaust manifold (156) | remove, insert. |
| Installation instruction Clean sealing surface. Apply dots of sealant A 001 989 25 20 on new gaskets (closed metal surface facing cylinder head). |

| Leak tightness of connections | examine with engine running. |
