Installing rear crankshaft radial seal - AR03.20-P-3063-01AO

Screw inner part (6) of 117 589 00 43 00 to crankshaft.
Coat radial seal with engine oil between dust lip and sealing lip.
Do not use grease! Grease prevents the sealing lip of the radial seal transporting back the engine oil.

The contact surface for the rear radial seal on the crankshaft is hardened and twist-free.
Push radial seal onto inner part (6) of 117 589 00 43 00.

Use the insertion tool (7) 117 589 00 43 00 to press in radial seal flush with end cover.
If wear groove exists on the crankshaft, press in radial seal 2 mm deeper.

The dust lip must not be resting on the crankshaft otherwise leaks will occur as a result of the pumping action.
