Since 09/95 and 11/95, respectively, a modified oil pump has been fitted as standard to the 2-valve turbo engines (prechamber engines).
The coolant pump has an enlarged impeller (306) and thus an increased volume flow (impeller diameter 72 mm was 68 mm) part no. 605 200 03 20 cannot be installed in engines manufactured prior to this date. It is likewise not possible to install predecessor pump with the now modified coolant pump housing.
