System Tests: Notes

CAUTION: To avoid damaging control modules all electrical testing should be done with a DVOM. DO NOT use an analog meter or test light to check control module circuits.

After verifying problem using DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  table under TROUBLE SHOOTING, perform appropriate test step(s). For aid in using diagnostic charts, see USING DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS  .
