System Tests: Notes

CAUTION: To avoid damaging control modules all electrical testing should be done with a DVOM. DO NOT use an analog meter or test light to check control module circuits.

After verifying problem using DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS (LH-SFI UP TO 5/93)  or DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS (HFM-SFI & LH-SFI AS OF 6/93)  tables under TROUBLE SHOOTING, perform appropriate test step(s). For aid in using diagnostic charts, see USING DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS  .
