- Remove housing cover on headlamp unit. (Model 202 up to 31.08.96, 210)
To remove housing cover on model 210 remove air cleaner on right and washing water reservoir on left on vehicles with headlamp cleaning system code 600a.
- Connect vacuum tester between vacuum line and positioning element of headlamp range adjustment.
- Run engine.
- Move headlamp range adjustment into the individual positions and read off vacuum levels.
If specified level is not achieved, perform leak test.
If a leak exists at the connection bushes, these can be replaced by adapters. To do this, separate pneumatic line and shorten by about 50 mm. Insert adapter in place of the cut off connection bush and connect with hose connector (about 40 mm long).
