Encoding radio - AR82.60-P-7502-01GC

  1. If the radio is disconnected from the power supply, it is not ready for operation when reconnected. After the ignition and the radio are switched on the lettering "CODE" appears on the display whereby the letter "C" flashes.

IMPORTANT The 5-digit code number for the radio is indicated on the CODE CARD.

  2. Enter code number with station buttons e.g. number 1 station button 1
  3. After the first digit is entered the lettering "CODE" disappears and the entered digit is indicated followed by 4 lines. The next digit to be entered flashes. After all 5 digits have been entered the first digit flashes again. In this state it is possible to overwrite the code number as often as desired. Correction is only possible by entering the complete number again.
  4. Confirm code number

Press seek-UP/ seek-DOWN or SCAN button. The radio automatically switches on and indicates the station stored on station button 1 or the frequency.

  5. If an incorrect code number was entered and confirmed the display indicates again the lettering "CODE". If the code is entered incorrectly three times in sequence the lettering "WAIT" appears on the display and the radio is locked for approx. 10 min.

IMPORTANT The waiting time runs only when the radio is switched on.

  6. When the waiting time has expired the display again indicates the lettering "CODE" and waits for new entry of the correct code number.

Three additional incorrect entries disable the radio for another 10 minutes. If 3 additional incorrect entries are made again (all totaled 9 incorrect entries) the disable time is increased to 60 minutes. Three additional incorrect entries disable the radio for another 60 minutes.
