Automatic Locking Differential (ASD)

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove ASD control unit from vehicle. ASD control unit is located next to vehicle battery. Connect a jumper wire between ASD control unit connector terminals No. 8 and 10. Start engine and let idle.
  2. Open bleed screw on right annular cylinder. Annular cylinder is located on differential. Let hydraulic fluid flow until fluid is free of air bubbles. Check reservoir and fill to proper level.
