Preliminary work:
Panelling on inner trunk lid removed (68-482)
| Installed position of trunk lid (6) on hinge levers (4 and 5) | mark. |
| Electric cables (7) and pneumatic lines (8) | detach and pull out at trunk lid (6). |
| Screws (2) on trunk lid handle (1) | unscrew and remove trunk lid handle (1) (4 screws). |
| Screws (3) on hinge lever (4 and 5) | unscrew (4 pieces, 10 Nm). |
| Trunk lid (6) on hinge lever (4 and 5) | move upwards out of locking hook (arrows) with help of second mechanic and place on a suitable base. |
| Reinstall | in opposite order. |
| Trunk lid (6) | if necessary, adjust (88-520). |
When replacing a trunk lid carry out the specified sealing and preservation measures (97-400 or 97-150).
