Removal and installation of rain strip - ra88001400860x(0860)

| Left or right front door | open. |
| Side window in left or right front door and rear side window | open. |
| Sealing frame (1) | pull out of profile frame (2) starting at front. |
| Phillips screws (arrows) | unscrew (12 each), replace damaged expanding anchors on roof frame when reinstalling. |
| Screws on roof frame | unscrew (4 each, Allen screws, 5 mm). |
| Profile frame (2) | remove from roof frame together with drip molding (3); pull out of window shaft at rear. |
| Rubber profile (4) | insert into drip molding and align. |
| Profile frame (2) | insert into window shaft at rear together with drip molding (3) and fasten to roof frame with screws (4 each, 10 Nm). |
| Philips screws | screw in (12 each); ensure that rubber profile (4) is correctly positioned. |
| Retaining clip (arrow) | insert into profile frame (2). |
| Sealing frame (1) | insert into profile frame (2) at rear, align and press into groove with plastic wedge; observe installation note! |
| Sealing frame (1) | clip into profile frame (2) at front and lift plush lip over panelling on A-pillar, roof frame and C-pillar. |
Installation note
Lubricate groove in sealing frame with solution of soap and water and align sealing frame (1) so that the angled contact lip of the sealing frame is in the center of the retaining clip (arrow).
