Lateral tension of window against sealing frame adjust.
Correct with adjustment screw on bottom bearing brackets for front and rear guide rails.
NOTE: If the adjustment on the bearing brackets for the guide rails is not sufficient to achieve the required lateral tension, it is also possible to adjust the guide jaws.

Moving the guide jaws upward increases the tension, moving them down reduces the tension. When the tension is adjusted correctly the inner top edge of the glass contacts the sealing frame uniformly over the entire length when the front door is completely closed.

Crank window close.
Closing wedge (6) adjust so that rear edge of glass touches closing wedge and makes contact at side.
Inner sealing rail (2) install.
Depth stop on window lift mechanism adjust (inner Torx T30). The outer edge of the glass should extend approx. 1 - 2 mm above the rubber lip of the outer sealing rail in the rear area.
Then adjust bottom stop on window lift rail by loosening screw (arrow, inner Torx T30), moving stop bracket up to the inner door panel leaving a gap of approx. 1 mm and tightening.
Front door and crank window close.
Rear side window close.
Fit and seal on rear window web check, adjust.
note
The rear window web can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction by pulling off the inner cover toward the rear, loosening the screws (Allen screws, 2.5 mm, 3 each) and adjusting so that the rear window web is parallel to the crank window.
After adjusting grease front and rear guide rails as well as slider in window lift rail with MB lubricating paste, part no. 000 989 31 51.
Door liner install.
