| 1 | Disconnect negative pole on battery | ||
| 2 | Unclip clips (1) | ||
| 3 | Unscrew screw clips (2) | ||
| 4 | Remove grille | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nuts (3) | ||
| 6 | Remove electrical leads | ||
| 7 | Unscrew nuts (4) | ||
| 8 | Reinstall in opposite order | ||
| 9.1 | Check 3-stage auxiliary fans for proper function as follows | ||
| 10.1 | Disconnect connector on coolant temperature sensor (B10/8) or (B11/4). Set resistance decade to 310 Ω (stage 1) or 250 Ω (stage 2). | Fig 4 | |

| 12.1 | Set pushbutton control module (Automatic AC) to "AUTO" | ||
| 13.1 | Auxiliary fans should rotate to right | ||
| 9.2 | Check 2-stage auxiliary fans for proper function as follows ↓ | ||
| 10.2 | Disconnect connector from coolant temperature sensor (B10/8) or (B11/4, pin 1 and 2) and connect resistance decade. Set resistance decade to 310 Ω | ||
