Renewing bulbs for illumination and bulb for rear center air outlet Model 140 

1. Removing and installing

   Adjusting screw (4) for air flap	Unscrew (hexagon socket screw).
   Front cover plate (1) together with air outlet (2)	Pull out carefully.
   Control unit (N22/3)	Remove, 2 screws (arrows).
   Install	In reverse sequence ensuring that the air flap with the slide controller (3) closes completely and the electrical cables are correctly routed.
   Rear air conditioner	Perform function check.
   	After completing the work: Erase fault memory in the control and operating unit (Diagnosis manual - air conditioning).

2. Renewing bulbs for illumination

   Front cover plate	Remove (refer to A).
   Adhesive strips above bulbs	Pull off.
   Bulb	Replace by pushing a length of cable insulation (5 mm dia.) over the defective bulb and pull out bulb.
   Install	In reverse sequence ensuring correct routing of the electrical cables.
   Function check	Perform, before assembling the front cover plate.
   	The bulb (a) on the left illuminates the left-hand temperature selector. The bulb (a) on the right illuminates the right-hand temperature selector and the blower selector.
