Temperature selectors Move to "Max" position.
Sealing cap (1) on coolant expansion tank (2) Turn to 1st lock and vent pressure, then turn further to 2nd lock and remove cap.
IMPORTANT The sealing cap must only be opened when the coolant temperature is below 90°C.
Coolant Slowly fill up to edge (3) of coolant expansion tank (2).
IMPORTANT Only use coolants and mixture ratios approved by the vehicle manufacturer (refer to note).
Knurled screw (4) Unscrew from coolant hose (5), wait until coolant emerges from opening free from bubbles (collect coolant in container), screw in.
Coolant Slowly fill up to edge (3) of coolant expansion tank (2).
Engine Start and allow to warm up (coolant temperature above 70°C).
Auxiliary heater Switch on; then switch off after approx. 2 minutes.
Engine Switch off.
Coolant Slowly fill up to edge (3) of coolant expansion tank (2).
Sealing cap (1) Screw on.
NOTE: To guarantee protection against corrosion, the coolant must contain at least 40 % anticorrosion/antifreeze agent. This corresponds to an antifreeze protection down to -25°C.

Do not exceed a percentage of 55 % (antifreeze protection down to approx. -45°C), otherwise heat dissipation deteriorates.
