Function
When the rear air conditioning is switched on, the vacuum valve for the rear tunnel flap (Y67/1) is open.
In this manner, vacuum travels through the vacuum supply reservoir (1), the vacuum valve block (36) and vacuum valve for the rear tunnel flap (Y67/1) to the vacuum element for the right rear footwell (50) and the vacuum element for the left rear footwell (51), which close the rear footwell flap on the automatic A/C housing.
The automatic air conditioning then cools only the front footwell and the rear air conditioning takes over cooling of the rear footwell.
