Function
The A/C pushbutton control module receives the actual temperature of the refrigerant from the refrigerant temperature sensor. This value is compared with a stored temperature-/pressure curve allowing the refrigerant level to be determined. If the refrigerant level is too low the A/C compressor is switched off by the A/C pushbutton control module.
The (
) button comes on and cannot be switched off. The A/C compressor can operate again only after elimination of the malfunction and erasing the DTC memory in the A/C pushbutton control module.
