Function

The liquid refrigerant is injected into the evaporator under high pressure. Evaporators from the manufacturers Behr and Valeo are installed.

Behr: Plate-type evaporator of brazed half-plates with corrugated fins (model 210).

Behr: Conventional layout consisting of banks of tubes and louvers (models 129, 140, 170, 202 and 208)

Valeo: Conventional layout consisting of banks of tubes and louvers The heat required for evaporation is absorbed from the air flowing past the evaporator cooling the air. The fins or louvers provide a large evaporator surface ensuring quicker heat exchange.

The moisture condensing out of the air as it cools is drained outside through condensed water drain hoses. In addition the solid particles are removed from the air by the condensing water purifying the air.
