Diverter flap vacuum element, function - GF83.10-P-2123-01B

Function

The diverter flap vacuum element (41) is actuated automatically with the valve block (Y11) by the pushbutton control module depending on the average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor and the outdoor temperature. In the open state vacuum is present at the diverter flap vacuum element (41).

Manual hot/cold switchover on center nozzle

When the cold" button on the center nozzle is pressed the diverter flap is opened regardless of the average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor and the outdoor temperature.

Pressing the cold" button a second time cancels the function. Then the diverter flap position is dependent only on the average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor and the outdoor temperature.

If the hot" button is pressed in the cold" mode the diverter flap is closed and cannot be opened by the average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor or the outdoor temperature even when the conditions are fulfilled.
