Center nozzle, function - GF83.10-P-2107-01B

Function

The center nozzle (1) can be opened and closed separately on the left and right with the adjustment wheels (3).

Two separately adjustable louvers (2) allow the air to be directed upward, downward, to the left, right or center as desired.

Cooled and heated air exits from the center nozzle (1).

In the heating mode it is possible to switch over to hot air with the hot" button (H) or to fresh air or cooled air with the cold" button (C) with the center nozzle open.

Hot/cold air switchover on center nozzle

If the cold" button (C) on the center nozzle is pressed, the diverter flap is open. Pressing the cold" button (C) a second time cancels the function. The position of the diverter flap is regulated depending on the outside temperature and the average deviation from the value set on the interior sensor.

If the hot" button (H) on the center nozzle is pressed in the cold" mode the diverter flap is closed and cannot be opened via the outside temperature or average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor even when the conditions are fulfilled.

Cold/hot air switchover on center nozzle

If the hot" button (H) on the center nozzle is pressed the blend flap is opened regardless of the temperature in the heater core or the average deviation from the value set on the interior air temperature sensor. If the hot" button (H) is pressed again the blend flap returns to the automatic mode.

If the cold" button (C) is pressed in the hot" mode the blend flap closes.
