Locking vehicle - GF80.30-P-3001B

When a valid infrared remote control signal is received the vehicle is "locked", when it was previously "unlocked". "Locking" is confirmed by the "red" confirmation lamp in the receiver actuated by the IR remote control key.

If the infrared remote control is actuated continuously the side windows are closed using the convenience feature.

The "red" confirmation lamp comes on as long as the remote control is actuated.

If the vehicle is opened manually with the lock cylinders in the front doors or trunk, the vehicle is locked and the windows are closed with the convenience feature, where applicable.

The "red" confirmation lamp does not come on.

Special functions

If the key is still in the ignition/starter switch (S2/1), the remote control has no function:

when the ignition is ON
for approx. 2 seconds after switching off the ignition.
