Confirmation of the infrared remote control locked state is accomplished via the turn signals as well as via the receiver unit on the interior rearview mirror. The DAS infrared control module sends a ground signal to the combination relay or lock confirmation relay.

When the hazard warning flasher system is switched on, confirmation via the turn signals is switched off by an additional lock confirmation relay Japan (K54/1) or the combination relay module (N10/2).

Turn signals flash 3 times at a frequency of 1.5 Hz.

If so desired by the customer, confirmation via the turn signals can be programmed out of the version coding with the hand-held tester.

When the vehicle is locked and unlocked manually with the lock cylinders in the driver's door or rear an unlocking or locking operation is also started.

In this case, the turn signals are not actuated.
