Preliminary work:
Rear seat and rear backrest removed (Removal and installation of rear seat and backrest )
| Head restraints (1 and 2) | remove by pressing arresting levers (arrows, Fig 1). |
| Head restraint mechanism | unlock and fold down (arrow, Fig 1). |
| Head restraint mechanism on backrest frame | screw off, observe different screw lengths when installing (arrows, Fig 1, 8 Nm). |
| Before installing head restraint mechanism (3 and 4) | insert clip nut M6 (2 each) on backrest frame (arrows, Fig 1). |
| Reinstall in opposite order. |
