Checking tire for condition and damage, Measurement of tread depth - wh4051pkw0000x(4051)

Shoulder wear on front tires Center wear on rear tires
Tires check for cuts and other damage as well as objects which have penetrated into tread or side walls (inside and outside).
Wear pattern check.
  If necessary, rotate tires (see operation item 4050).
NOTE: On the front wheels slightly greater wear on the tire shoulders in comparison to the center of the tread is normal.
During routine service at extra cost.
On the rear wheels the wear is usually distributed over the entire tread surface, whereby the wear at the center of the tread surface is slightly greater than at the shoulders.  
Tread depth measure and enter in table in maintenance sheet.
