Pressing off and pressing in radial sealing ring at rear axle housing from the side - AR35.31-P-0540-05B

    SPECIAL TOOL Replace radial sealing ring and coat the sealing lip with universal hypoid gear oil: ↓  
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS   Universal hypoid gear oils (SAE 85 W-90) BB00.40-P-0235-07A

    Pressing off 

  1. Press radial seal ring (32) out of the housing (50) using a suitable screwdriver.

    2. Pressing in 

  2. Coat sealing lip of radial sealing ring with universal hypoid gear oil.
  3. Press in radial sealing ring (32) using assembly alignment tool (032b).
