Pulling tapered roller bearing inner race off drive pinion - AR35.31-P-0550-10A

  1. Assemble puller (024) with extension (024c) and clamping pliers (024a) and tighten.

    IMPORTANT Use an open wrench if necessary to assemble and disassemble the extension (024c).

  2. Push puller (024) with clamping pliers (024a) above the tapered roller bearing inner race and clamp securely behind the rollers (arrow) using a roll pin (024b).
  3. Using the puller (024), detach the tapered roller bearing inner race from the drive pinion (47) and remove.
