Removal and installation of the automatic antenna - ra82001408105x(8105)

A. Without antenna splitter, B. With antenna splitter (USA) Model 140
Preliminary work:
Cover of left wheelhouse removed (68-480).
A. Version without antenna splitter
| Quiescent current retention unit | disconnect, connect. |
| Ground cable at battery | disconnect, connect. |
| Ground cable (1) and antenna cable (2) | unscrew, screw on. |
| Electrical connection (3) | unplug, plug in. |
| Screw (4) | remove, screw in. |
| Automatic antenna (M11) with bracket | remove downward, insert from below.
NOTE:
The antenna head is held in the wing by a rubber grommet.

B. Version with antenna splitter
| Quiescent current retention unit | disconnect, connect. |
| Ground cable at battery | disconnect, connect. |
| Union nut (1) | unscrew, screw on. |
| Cover (2) | pull off, fit on. |
| Seal (3) | take off, check for signs of damage, when installing, ensure seal (3) is correctly seated. |
| Antenna cable for radio (4) | unscrew, screw on. |
| Antenna cable for car phone | if fitted, unscrew, screw on. |
| Electrical connection (5) | unplug, plug in. |
| Screws (6 and 7) | unscrew, screw in. |
| Nut (8) | unscrew, screw on. |
| Automatic antenna (M11) | remove downward, insert from below. |
| Spacer (9) | pull off, fit on. |
| Antenna splitter (A28/1) | unscrew, screw on. |
