Preliminary work:
Cover on gearshift lever removed (Removal and installation of gear shift lever cover (manual transmission) or Removal and installation of selector lever cover (automatic transmission) )
Radio removed (82-505)
| Screw (arrows) | screw out. |
| Cover (1) | lift at bottom to horizontal position, then pull back. |
| Switch strip (2), top and plug connector (3) on ashtray housing | unclip and disconnect. |
| Cover (1) | remove. |
| Reinstall | in opposite order. |
