Ignition OFF . Clip (22) unsnap and extract plug from ABS control unit.
When reinserting the plug in the ABS control unit (N30), ensure that it snaps into place audibly.Model 202
Boltsremove, install. ABS control unit (N30) remove from bracket, reinstall.

Test programperform (42-0720/Chassis Diagnosis Manual, Volume 2). Model 202
Fault memoryread out, then erase (Chassis Diagnosis Manual, Volume 2). NOTE: Phased in as of 04/86 the ABS control units are enclosed in a plastic housing instead of an aluminum housing. The control units are interchangeable.On vehicles with ABS, which are also fitted with the ASD, ASR or 4MATIC systems, the system related control unit is valid in each case.
