Removing and installing fuel distributor with injection valves - RA07041041451X (07.4-1451)

Fuel pressure release through service valve (see Diagnosis Manual Engine, Volume 2, Index 3, Testing fuel pressures and internal leaktightness).
Ground cable at battery disconnect, connect.
All electrical connections of wiring which runs via the fuel distributor to the intake manifold, unplug, plug in.
Fuel feed and return lines unbolt, bolt on.
NOTE: Do not unbolt fuel feed and return lines for testing the injection valves.
Vacuum line from pressure regulator, detach, fit on.
Bolts (16) unscrew, screw in.
Fuel distributor (17) carefully pull out of intake manifold together with injection valves, insert.
Injection valves test (Diagnosis Manual Engine Volume 2).
Plug connections (arrow) unplug, plug in.
NOTE: Do not unplug the connectors (arrow) for testing the injection valves.
Insulating sleeves examine, replace if necessary (07.4-6572).
Injection valves remove, install (07.4-6520).
LH control unit fault memory read, erase if necessary (see Diagnosis Manual Engine, Volume 2, Index 0).
