Checking the clutch plate wear - wh2551pkw0000x(2551)

Model 107 from 8/85; 123; 124, 129, 140 up to 6/93; 126 from 9/85; 201 from 1/85

  1. 1 Slave cylinder
  2. 2 Spacer between slave cylinder and clutch housing
  3. 4 Check gauge
Check gauge slide in between clutch housing and slave cylinder as far as possible and pay attention to notches on gauge.
  Notches not visible:
Clutch plate not worn excessively.
  Notches visible:
Clutch plate has reached wear limit, replace clutch plate.
NOTE: If the gauge cannot be inserted easily, move gauge back and forth a number of times (possible deposits).
