Flushing out oil cooler with oil cooler pipe and torque converter - AR27.20-P-0500-02A

IMPORTANTIf transmission oil is burnt or interspersed with lining abrasion

    A Flushing out torque converter 

  1. Fill torque converter half-full with automatic transmission fluid.
  2. Insert flushing mandrel (063) in the torque converter and drive with a hand drill at low speed for approx. 2 minutes.
  3. Drain ATF oil through a clean cloth via the drain plug (2) and allow the oil to drip out.

    IMPORTANT

    Repeat flushing process 2-4 times until the automatic transmission fluid runs out clean. If there are metal chips in the cloth after flushing out, replace the torque converter.

  4. B Flushing out oil cooler with oil cooler pipes 

  5. Screw oil cooler pipe (49) onto the hand pump (064) and flush out the oil cooler pipe as well as the oil cooler with automatic transmission fluid.

    IMPORTANT

    Ensure that the transmission fluid flows freely.

  6. Then blow out the oil cooler and oil cooler pipes thoroughly with compressed-air.
