TEST VALUES FOR BRAKE BAND / MULTIPLE DISC BRAKE

- Press the support lug of the brake band B2 towards the brake band piston (in direction of arrow) so that the brake band piston abuts the brake band piston cover.
- Using a caliper gauge, measure dimension "a" on brake band.
- Press the support lug of the brake band B2 towards the thrust member (in direction of arrow).
- Using a caliper gauge, measure dimension "b" on brake band.
The difference between the measurement "a" and "b" gives the play "L".
- Adjust play "L" by replacing the pressure pin on the brake band piston B2.
Pressure pins are available as a spare part in lengths of 47.2, 48.0, 48.8 and 49.6 mm.
