Installation of brake band B2 - AR27.50-P-0780-04A

  1. Check thrust member B2 (29) for distortion.

    IMPORTANT

    When the thrust member is removed the bore and the lug (arrows) must point in the same direction.

    IMPORTANT

    When the thrust member is installed, one spring coil of the thrust member must be visible through the oil tube bore of the bottom cover.

  2. Install new sealing ring in transmission housing.
  3. Insert thrust member B2 (29) with the lug (arrow) upwards.

  4. Compress brake band B2 (27) at the supporting lugs as much as possible and insert in the housing.

IMPORTANT

To aid assembly, the brake band may be held together using the snap ring from piston B2 (23).
