Installation and measurement of multi-disc brake B3 - AR27.50-P-0780-06A

A Installation

Arrange multi-discs for multi-disc brake B3 in the order shown in the figure and insert individually.

B Measuring
Determine dimension "a" by placing parallel support (029) on the machined surface.
Using the depth gauge, measure to the outer edge of the Belleville spring washer (85).

Determine dimension "b" by placing the parallel support (029) on the piston of the multi-disc brake (arrows).
Using the depth gauge, measure to the gasket (11).

The difference between the two measurements gives the play "L".
Adjust the play "L" with the various thicknesses of outer multi-discs (133b) available.

Outer multi-discs (133b) are available as a spare part in thicknesses of 2.3, 2.8, 3.3 and 3.8 mm.

Lubricate groove in the drive shaft (87).
Insert lubrication pressure ring (99).

Press into the groove so that the joint meets.
