Adjusting cable for control pressure - RA27037220110X(27-110)

Adjusting

The engine throttle control must be correctly adjusted.

Vehicles with engines 103 and 603.96

Detach ball socket (19) and pull control pressure cable forwards until slight resistance can be felt. In this position, hold the ball socket over the ball head and attach; if necessary, adjust by means of the adjusting screw (15).

Vehicles with engines 116 and 117

Remove air cleaner.
Slacken clamping screw (6) on connecting rod (8).
Extend connecting rod (8) and compress again until slight resistance can be felt. Then tighten clamping screw (6).
Refit air cleaner.

Remove air cleaner.
Control pressure cable attached. Adjust control pressure cable (98) by turning adjusting screw (15) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.

Remove air cleaner.
Turn adjusting screw (15) on Bowden cable (98) until the pointer of the spacer sleeve (17) aligns with the adjusting screw.

Vehicles with engine 119.97

Remove air cleaner.
Slacken hexagon nuts (6) on connecting rod (8).
Turn connecting rod (8) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.
Tighten hexagon nuts (6).

Engine 120

Remove air cleaner. Turn adjusting screw (15) to adjust control pressure cable (98) until the tips of the needles are in alignment.
