Adjusting steering gear in vehicle - AR46.20-P-0100A: Notes

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1.1 Remove tie rod at pitman arm Model 129 AR46.40-P-0200A
    Model 140 AR46.40-P-0200B 
2.1 Remove drag link at pitman arm Model 129 AR46.40-P-0100A
    Model 140 AR46.40-P-0100B 
3.1 Remove combined tie rod and drag link at pitman arm Model 1, 70, 202, 208 AR46.40-P-0100C
4 Assemble support (042a) on steering wheel, mount torque wrench (042b) SPECIAL TOOL Support Fig 3

INSPECT Checking     
5 Determine friction torque of the steering gear by slowly turning the steering wheel from stop to stop several times.   *BE46.20-P-1001-01A 
HIGH PRESSURE TEST Adjustment     
6 Adjust friction torque of the steering gear   AR46.20-P-0100-01A
