Removing and installing lower wishbone - AR33.20-P-0510A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation    
NOTESInstallation  Replace self-locking bolts and nuts    
1 Remove front spring   AR32.20-P-0200B
2 Unscrew locking screws of brake disc and splash shield (arrow) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA42.10-P-1002-06A 
3 Unscrew nut from supporting joint TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA33.20-P-1004-01A 
4 Screw thrust piece (044a) onto ball pivot of the supporting joint SPECIAL TOOL Figure
5 Press brake disc and brake disc splash shield outwards, press supporting joint out of steering knuckle using puller (044) SPECIAL TOOL Figure
IMPORTANT Clean tapered connection if necessary
6 Remove shock absorber (47) from wishbone TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.25-P-1002-01A 
7 Remove lower wishbone (4) IMPORTANTInstallation: TORQUE SPECIFICATION Install eccentric screws from the front towards the back.
Tighten nuts in ready-to-drive condition.		 *BA33.20-P-1010-01A 
8 Unscrew supporting joint nut (7b) on wishbone side TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA33.20-P-1006-01A 
9 Screw thrust piece onto the ball pivot of the supporting joint SPECIAL TOOL Figure
10 Using puller, press supporting joint out of wishbone SPECIAL TOOL Clean tapered connection if necessary Figure
11 Check supporting joint Replace if necessary AR33.20-P-0425A 
12 Install in reverse order    
13 Perform chassis alignment check NOTES Tighten nuts of lower wishbones in ready-to-drive condition AR40.20-P-0200A
