Level control, 4MATIC, ASD, ADS: Checking and correcting fluid level - wh3211pkw0000x(3211)

The vehicle must be level to check the oil level.
On models 129 and 201.03 with level control on front and rear axles with and without ADS ensure that the switch for level adjustment on the instrument panel is in the position "Normal level" (indicator lamp in switch: OFF).

NOTE:
Use funnel with filter (060) to add oil.

check. Remove closing cap with oil dipstick (2a), read off oil level. In the ready-to-drive condition the oil level should be between the "min" and "max" marks. When the vehicle is fully loaded, the oil level should be below the "min" mark (no longer visible on dipstick). |
