Removal and installation of the exhaust gas recirculation (ARF) switchover valve (USA, J only) - ra14lh1047304x(7304)

Cover over headlamps	remove, install.
Electrical coupling (arrow) at ARF switchover valve	unplug, plug in.
(Y27)	NOTE: The ARF switchover valve (Y27) is positioned behind the right hand head lamp.
Vacuum hose (tr/vi/br)	pull off, fit on.
	Installation note Pay attention to color coding on vacuum hose (see function diagram of air injection and exhaust gas recirculation 14-1310).
T connection for vacuum hose (tr/br)	pull off, fit on.
Securing nut	unscrew, screw on; pay attention to washer.
ARF switchover valve (Y27) with bracket	detach at bracket, attach.
LH control unit fault memory	read, erase if necessary (see Diagnosis Manual Engine, Volume 2, Index 0).
