Inserting and checking valve guide - AR05.30-P-3731-03AO

  1. Heat cylinder head in water bath or on a hot plate to approx. 80° C.
  2. Drive in valve guides (54) all the way using insertion drift (7).

    IMPORTANT The press-in depth is determined by insertion drift

  3. Check valve guide (54) with valve on ridging, if necessary ream using Ø 7 mm 102 589 01 53 00 or Ø 8 mm 000 589 21 53 00 reamer.

  4. Check installation depth (c) of valve guide (54), correct if necessary.
  5. Clean valve guides with cylinder brush 000 589 10 68 00
