Installing a new connecting rod bush - AR03.10-P-6111-03AW

  1. Press out connecting rod bush, press out old connecting rod bush with new one.

    NOTES Press in new connecting rod bush so that the oil drillings in the connecting rod bush are aligned with the oil drillings in the connecting rod (arrows)

    (Arrow) Oil hole for naturally aspirated engines 601, 602, 603

  2. Turn diameter of connecting rod bush, ream.
  3. Dress side surfaces of connecting rod on a dressing plate.

IMPORTANTEngine 603.960/963 from 01/1988 to 08/1988 have 3 holes of Ø 4.5 mm for piston bolt lubrication 

Engines 602.96, 603.96 and 603.97 USA ONLYfrom 09/1988 have 2 oil holes Ø 4.5 mm for piston bolt lubrication
