01 Engine removal and installation, crankcase, cylinder head and crankcase ventilation

Left cylinder head cover	M120.982/983 Motronic. Modified arrangement of camshaft sensors eliminates need for dowel sleeves for locating cylinder head cover. The holes for attaching the camshaft sensors are sealed with a plug.	04.95
TDC marking	Due to elimination of TDC sensor on models M120.982/983, the TDC marking was cast on the timing cover.	04.95
Cover at front left of cylinder head Cover at front right cylinder head	Both high voltage distributors on M120.982/983 discontinued with introduction of Motronic. The hole on the left cover (previous version) is sealed with an end cover. Modified version with mounting for camshaft sensors.	04.95	01-2120
